Weekend Update

April 3, 2026Ken

Send your Feedback I’m thrilled with the interest in Antilles so far, thanks to each of you for trying the site out. A few of you have shared feedback already, please keep it coming! I’m planning to announce Antilles publicly in a week or two and the feedback in the next few days will be the most helpful, because I’ll have time to make fixes. What’s the #1 thing that would make Antilles better or easier to use?

Fill Your Shelves Now’s a great time to add a few rums from your collection to start filling your shelves. If you’re like me, you’ll probably want to have a sip from a few of those bottles so you can add tastings too! Anyone who logs at least 5 combined rums or tastings will get the “OG” badge when I add support for badges.

Map Bug One of the early testers ran into a map error. To help confirm that it's fixed, please go to Maps in the menu and then click on a few countries. If you see an error on the country details screen (ie. the pages for Jamaica or Barbados, etc.), please take a screenshot & grab the URL from your browser and send both via feedback along with what device you're using. Thanks!

List of Fixes I’ve been busy this week, here’s a partial list of fixes and features.

  • Added basic support for desktop browsers. It still needs some work.
  • Performance improvements
  • Added bottle height to the new rum workflow via the add tasting menu (this helps the shelf look more accurate).
  • Login UX now shows Antilles instead of Supabase random looking characters for Google signin
  • Adding a tasting from the rum details page now takes you back to that page, instead of home
  • Added privacy policy, TOS, contact links.
  • Added password reset
  • Reminder to add photos to tastings & new rums
  • Users can log in immediately after creating an account and verify email later
  • Support for extra short bottles (for the Hampden 8 Marks 200ml bottles)
